Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL), Over-Seas House, Park Place, St James's Street, SW1A 1LR London

Spaceshifting is an ambitious and inventive play on traditional exhibition-making, that seeks to subvert the difficulties of international programming and strengthen cultural relationships across borders. The theme asks applicants to consider how works can move and metamorphose through space, across borders. Playing with dimensions, space, and material, the proposal seeks to challenge how an artwork can shift through space and time, physically changing from its inception to its display.

Spaceshifting is on view in the Central Lounge, ROSL Clubhouse, London, from Friday 11 July – Sunday 14 September 2025.

Opening hours: 10am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Please book your visit on the ROSL website.

Royal Academy Summer show

I’m pleased to announce that my sculpture ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ has been selected by Eve Rothschild RA and Vanessa Jackson RA for this years RA Summer Show ‘Reclaiming Magic’. It is in the  Lecture Room, (1220) from September 22nd until January 2nd 2022. The sculpture is made from nitric oxide or laughing gas bulbs you see littering the streets and parks of London. It was made during lockdown as young adults found other ways to escape the pandemic. Jacob’s Ladder has been shown before suspended from St. John’s Church at Waterloo as part of the Waterloo Festival, 'Coming up for air.’ This is a link to an interview with Sandra Crisp http://www.thelondongroup.com/aqop-paul-tecklenberg-lg/ about my practice and process.
